Privacy policy

Agent Setup Lab ("we") runs agentsetuplab.com and the newsletter The Tested Agent. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address (and any other details you choose to enter in the form). We use it only to send The Tested Agent and occasional related updates. Sign-up forms on this site are provided and processed by beehiiv — see below.
- Analytics: we may use privacy-respecting analytics or Google Analytics to see which pages are read. These tools may collect your IP address, browser type, pages visited and referrer.
- Purchases: your name, email, what you bought and receipt details, via Stripe (see below). See also our terms and refund policy.
- Emails you send us: we keep your message so we can reply.
Service providers
Newsletter (beehiiv). Newsletter sign-ups are collected and processed by beehiiv Inc., which hosts our subscriber list and sends the newsletter. The sign-up form on our pages is loaded from beehiiv's servers, and a small beehiiv script records which page or campaign link (UTM parameters) a sign-up came from. When you subscribe, beehiiv receives your email address along with technical data such as your IP address and browser details, and it tracks email opens and clicks so we can see which issues are useful. beehiiv acts as our service provider; see the beehiiv privacy policy for how it handles data.
Hosting (Cloudflare). The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data (such as IP address) to deliver and secure the site; see the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Payments (Stripe). Purchases are processed by Stripe, which collects your payment details, email and billing information to complete the payment and prevent fraud. We receive your name, email, the purchase and limited payment details (never your full card number). See the Stripe privacy policy. For setup-service purchases we also keep the details you email us so we can deliver the work.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We don't sell your personal information.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some links are affiliate links. When you click one, the vendor may set a cookie to credit us for a purchase. See our affiliate disclosure.
Your choices
- Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you from our beehiiv list.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by replying to any newsletter or contacting us via the About page.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
